Bring his daughter home

Columbus Fire Department Lt. Stu Tudor was tragically struck by lightning on June 28th, 2014 while volunteering at the Get Behind The Badge 2nd Annual First Responders Soccer Event @ Crew Stadium.

Stu's daughter Kendyl, flew in the following morning and has been with him every day since at the hospital. Lt. Tudor's recovery is going to be a long and slow process. As of July 25th he is still in serious condition in the ICU. When he is ready, he will start the long and slow process of neuro and physical rehabilition. He needs the love and support of his only daughter.

Kendyl and her husband, Marshall, have made the call to move back to Columbus to help Stu Tudor with his recovery. As stated above, Kendyl has been in Ohio this whole month, which is a lot of time to not be working and planning a big move like this.

In the upcoming weeks, Kendyl and Marshall will be trekking back and forth from Ohio to Nashville to clean the house, make some repairs, pack up the house and rent it out, and move their lives back to Columbus. Once in Ohio, they'll face the always-(never)-fun task of finding new jobs; specifically a job with flexible hours to allow Kendyl to take her father to the various rehabilitation centers he will be needing to go to.

So, to sum it up: In literally, the flash of a lightning strike, several lives were completley altered. Lt. Stu Tudor, who was healthy and happy, has now been in a hospital bed for one month. His daughter, Kendyl and her husband have dropped everything in their own lives to move back home to help. We all get by with a little help from our friends.... so let's help them out! The money raised here will help a daughter be able to move back home to take care of her father.

To keep up with Kendyl and the most current updates during this life-altering and chaotic time (which she is handling with outstanding grace and impressive maturity), check out her blog: http://kendyltheskin.tumblr.com/

Your support is greatly appreciated. We want to give Lt. Tudor the best support possible. Bringing his daughter home is just the support he needs!
