Get Dudley the English Setter home

Dudley (the name he’s been given) is an English Setter who for reasons we are not aware, was dumped on the streets in Turkey. After a large Facebook profile of his plight to get adopted in the U.K. by a loving family; many people expressed their love to give Dudley a forever home. After being abandoned on the street in Icmeler, Turkey, Dudley, as we have named him, was found wandering and malnourished. He is now living at Icmeler dog shelter. We are looking to raise funds to help him find his forever home. Dudley is a beautiful, gentle dog who has had a very rough time. he was offered funding to travel to the UK, but tragically for him, this offer has now been withdrawn. All the arrangements have been made and we have several offers of loving homes for him. We are working with the 'settusfree' charity, who helps abused and abandoned setters, to place Dudley, but they are unable to fund his travel to the UK. We need to get our beautiful Dudley ready to travel over to the to the Uk. Please help us to raise the £1750 we need to give this sweet boy his happy ending.
 So, where we thought that we would not have to ask the compassionate and loving people of the U.K. for assistance with Dudley to get him back to a safe and happy home, this is what we are now faced with. The funds raised are only to be used for his transportation home, airport costs, checks, papers etc. The charity out in Turkey has already Vaccinated, Microchipped, and Neutered him at their cost. The reason for asking for this cost, is that the many people who have expressed a interest in Dudley can’t afford the cost to get him over to the U.K.  The funds are need as soon as possible, as every thing is in place to transport Dudley home. He is a beautiful dog who needs his loving home. Mine and Linda’s gratitude would be beyond words for this assistance as neither she nor myself can take Dudley, both of us are gutted because he is gorgeous and has a loving temperament.
