Losing a child is something that no one should have to experience, ever. What makes matters worse is that when a baby dies, often times mothers, fathers, and family have financial obligations to honor while attempting to grieve.
On Wednesday November 29, 2017, Bridget Anne & Douglas’ daughter, Morgan Rae Sofia Barrios was found not breathing. At just 7 weeks old, she passed away, leaving her parents & loving siblings Lidia, Ray, and Lupita, completely heartbroken.
In the few days that followed, the family has been hit again and again with back to back losses. Bridget’s father Raymond Connelly passed away on December 3rd, and Bridget’s mother Suzanne Connelly followed December 12th. Needless to say the family has been struck with unimaginable loss.
This campaign is to help cover bills, expenses, and memorial costs for Morgan and her parents, Bridget & Douglas. No parent should ever lose a child. One cannot begin to fathom the pain and loss they must feel. While we can’t ease their suffering, hopefully this campaign can relieve a little of the financial burdens they are facing.
The hope of the campaign is to be the storm of love from their village, while they journey their road to healing.
