Brian is our Pastor, Husband, Son, Brother, Dad, Nephew, Cousin, Neighbor, Grandfather and Friend.
Brian experienced a headache back in September and within 48 hours, he was diagnosed with a mass in his brain. After going through brain surgery, it was discovered that he has Stage IV Glioblastoma. He has undergone radiation and chemotherapy to fight the beast called cancer. It has been an ugly battle, but Brian has persevered with grace and strength and hasn’t complained once or asked, “why me?”
Brian had to leave his pastoral posting due to his illness and his wife, Laurie, has had to close her daycare business to care for Brian fulltime. Large medical expenses and no income have created financial stressors for Brian & Laurie.
We as a family, community and Brian’s friends are going pull together and try to relieve a little of Brian and Laurie’s stressors by reducing their financial concerns. Thank you for your kind consideration. We are at Christ’s mercy. We are here for Brian, and if Brian could shout it out, he would happily be yelling from the sidelines, WE ARE PENN STATE!
