Boyd Family Home Fire Recovery
Donation protected
The Boyd family home was destroyed by fire on Monday, June 13 in the afternoon. The fire began in the garage and quickly engulfed the home. Despite vailiant efforts by at least 65 firefighters, the house could not be saved. Gratefully, no one was home at the time. Sadly, the family dogs (Snowflake and Angel) did not survive. The insurance policy will cover rebuilding the home and providing shelter for the family in the interim but David, Penny, Megan and Michelle Boyd lost nearly all of their personal belongings. Donations will be used to help offset the costs of clothing, food, and other day to day essentials needed to live during this transition.
As a close friend of the family, I want to thank you for taking the time to read about this tragedy. Any contributions will be greatly appreciated by the famiy as they work towards getting back to living their lives after this emotionally and financially difficult time.
