Abandoned For The Holidays

Meet Bones. He was dumped by his family on our street on Christmas Eve with a take-out carton of food next to him to live off of. I’ve never seen a dog this skinny in my life. He’s been SEVERELY neglected and emaciated, he’s heartworm positive and anemic, he’s got a double ear infection and an ulcer on his right eye, he’s got an old injury to his rear left leg that went untreated and has rendered it useless. Despite how poorly humans have treated him in the past, he manages to wag his tail when we love on him. First and foremost he needs nutrients and a full belly on the regular. Next we’ll address his heart worms. And then a neutering and amputation. He’s got a very LONG road home. All that said, we could use some help.
