You may remember the plight of last winter's Bodmin Moorland ponies, starved, neglected and dying..
Shires Holt Horse Sanctury in North Cornwall undertook a phenomenal rescue and successfully retrieved over 40 of the siezed ponies to the safety and care of the Sanctuary..
   However a number of the mares were in foal and 11 foals were then born into the Sanctuary. 8 of them are boys, and for them to live a calm, happy and free life with us they need to be castrated.. 
   We have 6 boys left to castrate and at £300 each this has a huge impact on our resources, the ongoing cost of that dreadful time.. With you help we can give these beautiful boys the life they so deserve.. Every £1 will get us closer to achieving our goal..
