Help Fix Bob the Builder

I’m writing this on behalf of my father Robert (Bob) Lutz and his wife Whitney Lutz. While working on his land in South Carolina, Bob fell off a ladder resulting in seven broken ribs, two fractured vertebrae in his upper back and one vertebrae in his neck. It truly is a miracle he survived and still has movement in his extremities. He underwent an eight-hour surgery the day after Thanksgiving to place rods in his back. He is in the process of going to a rehabilitation facility when discharged from the hospital to begin the long road to recovery. The surgeries and time in the hospital have created a very sizeable hospital bill that we need help paying.

Whitney just started a new job and has no accrued vacation time. She will need to be out of work a significant amount of time to care for Bob. Given the financial toll of the hospital bills and lack of work, making ends meet will be extremely difficult if not impossible.

This man has lived his life as a giver to others. When others are in need, he is the first in line to help with his time, talents, and financially. He never asks for anything in return.
