Bird Treatment and Learning Center is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization in Anchorage, AK dedicated to rehabiliting sick, injured or orphaned wild birds and providing avian education programs to the public.
Bird TLC operates a rehabilitation clinic 365 days per year, treating over 600 wild birds. It is necessary to place injured birds under anesthesia in order to perform surgeries and other treatments. We have recently had difficulties with our current anesthesia machine, which we have been using since Bird TLC was founded in 1988, and will need to purchase a new machine to continue providing medical care.
Your kind donation will allow us to continue procedures and treatments, such as placing a pin in a Northern Goshawk's wing, setting a broken leg on a Mallard Duck and suturing a Bald Eagle's puncture wound.
