Please considering giving a gift to provide Bertrand Andus with the care he desperately needs. Bertrand is a twenty-one year old native of the Mississippi Delta (Greenville)- a lover of basketball, church and the guitar - but he is also severely autistic and faces many daily struggles. His awesome grandmother, Perterius Allen , has cared for him in her home for years, but with his increasing physical size and her own health issues she needs professional help to keep him healthy and out of an institution.
Specifically, Bertrand needs a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide basic home health care and transportation assistance. The cost of the CNA is $10/hour. In an ideal world Ms. Allen would have the care for 4-5 hours/day, 5 days a week.
Please offer a gift of any size. Ms. Allen said "If the Lord blesses us with $1 through this, we'll celebrate that dollar".
Ms. Allen's dream is for Bertrand to be more self sufficient and less lonely. Having a professional help him with daily tasks and provide transporation in to the community for regular volunteering, she believes, would change their world.
