Beata's cancer journey. Help us bring her home.

Donation protected
Home is where Beata's heart is. Miracles happen when many people believe in them.

We have set up this donation page on behalf of my dearest friend Beata Mazur (Babinczuk) who was just diagnosed with non-operable brain cancer that has spread widely and fast. It is to help Beata safely return to Ireland from Poland - to reunite with her husband and daughter, and continue her treatment.

This beautiful woman Beata, came into our lives as a great inspiration, she is always there for us when we were not at our best because friends in need are friends indeed. I’m beyond grateful for her every single day of my life. She is truly a very special soul friend, an amazing loving wife, a daughter, a sister and most importantly, a caring mother of a beautiful girl Zuzanna .She is 10 in November and misses her mum every day.

Beata lives in Sligo, Ireland for the last 15 years and has made it her home. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 and has bravely going through this journey for the last 6 years with grace and determination. Recently in August 2021, after experiencing bad headaches and sickness, she was rushed to hospital where she was diagnosed with brain cancer. At the time of diagnosis she was visiting her parents in Poland. Unfortunately her condition does not allow her to take a flight back home to Ireland, where her heart belongs, and where her family is waiting for her with a missing heart.

This fundraiser is here to help Beata with assistance in renting a camper van so that her husband can bring her back to her home in Ireland (daily cost of a camper van is €220 and 8 days will be needed for the journey from Poland. Together with petrol and ferry transport it will cost at least €3000 ) It will also cover her future medical needs and physical alterations to her home in Collooney , in line with recommendations from occupational therapists. Beata will require additional home care, physiotherapy and other specific needs. She has difficulties with walking and she has lost the majority of her sight so we need to make sure she is taken care of to the highest standard.

As the tumors can’t be removed and academic medicine has left Beata without help, she has taken the route of a holistic approach and her main treatment of medical oils cost at least €1000 per month. Beata’s husband Michal is working extremely hard to support his wife’s healing journey. Even though her family still has some savings left we are aware saving don’t last forever and we all want to help as much as we can.

If you cannot donate, don’t worry, you can help us by sharing this information with others and praying for Beata’s healing.

Thank you all for your support and we looking forward to sharing more positive updates with you all soon.
