Funding for Barbi and Jericho

My name is Barbi, and I am the single momma of 5 extraordinary children. I know, I may have a biased opinion on the matter, but the opinion is mine, non the less. As any parent already knows, there are ups and downs when you have children, especially if that parent is functioning as a single parent. But, even harder yet, is when you have to accept that one of your children has a boo boo that no amount of loving kisses can fix. My oldest son Jericho has been ill for nearly a year and a half. We are currently dealing with Johns Hopkins, in Baltimore MD, in hopes of figuring out what is going on. We have spent countless hours in emergency rooms, doctor offices, pharmacy lines, researching possible solutions on the Internet and trying to figure out where we can find a real life Dr. House. Through all of it, the thing that helps him the most, besides daily prayer, is a special diet I have devised of foods that don't make him as sick. These foods need to be organic, free of additives and preservatives, and all meals made from scratch. With such a diet comes an expensive grocery bill, plus 4 other children to feed as well. The purpose of my GoFundMe is a two part donation request. On top of dealing with my son's health issues, I too am battling some of my own. A few weeks ago, I found out that I have a tumor and some unknown nodules in my reproductive system. I am going next week to have biopsys done to determine if they are bynine. A week after that, I will be having surgery to remove the tumor through a hysterectomy. I will be out of work for a 8 week recovery period. I am nervous about being able to provide Jericho the care he needs through his special meals and the gas money needed for trips to Johns Hopkins, while I am on leave. As the sole financial provider for my family, I am all I have to pay the bills, and getting behind in bills, with the 8 week loss in income, is a burden on my mind. I am humbly asking our family and friends to please help our family through this hardship in our life.
