I remember the days of my youth growing up in poverty. I recall recycling used backpacks year after year. The emotional impact it had on me was devastating. I often wondered why I couldn't afford nice accessories or new school supplies like some of my peers. Even in my adult years, the memory is unsettling. My intent is to alleviate that emotional burden from today's youth. Bamboo is a small community with few resources, but what we don't lack is determination. Any small act of kindness for this cause goes a long way and is invaluable to a child who might not otherwise receive assistance.
