Balto's Vet Expenses

I rescued Balto from being euthanized at the San Jose animal shelter almost a month ago. We started him on arthritis medication. His pain became increasingly worse and now it appears that it is everywhere. His first intensive vet visit was $800. We visited the ER after he started screaming from the pain and couldn't stand up on his own, which cost us $200 and put him on two more pain killers. Now he's in for an MRI and more tests which is costing $5000 already. I am finally asking for help for his current vet bills and possible future. He has presumptive immune mediate polyarthropathy. Basically, his immune system is attacking his joints. He will be on meds his entire life but luckily, NO SURGERY! 


Update 4/10/17: Balto crossed the rainbow bridge at Adobe Animal Hospital. His disease was eating away at his body and we collectively decided the best move was to let him go before it got any worse.
