Bae the Golden's ACL Vet Expenses

Hello hoomans ("human" for you 2-legged readers), my name is Baylor (most of you call me Bae). In honor of #NationalPetDay, I want to help my pet hooman, Lauren, raise money for my upcoming ACL surgery.
For those of you who don't know me, I am my hooman's Service Dog. I am a 4-year-old Golden Retriever and a lover of treats, naps, treats, belly rubs, treats, food, treats, comfy couches, treats, going on adventures with my hooman, treats, America, treats, & Texas.
You can usually find me strutting my fluffy tail on the Katy Trail, trying to steal my hooman’s beer at Ice House or Truck Yard, rolling around in the mud, or riding with my head out the window of a car. I have also participated in the #showyoursoftside campaign to educate against animal cruelty & show that tough guys have soft hearts (full picture here).
 In early March, I was showing my hooman my skills as a professional herp derp in my backyard. I decided to show her my best impression of Tasmanian Devil and took a turn too quickly and tore my ACL on my left knee. I need your help to get back in tip-top shape to best love and serve my hooman as her Service Animal.

After visiting two veterinarians and racking up $645 in exam, x-ray, etc. bills to figure out what is wrong, the Orthopedic Vet says that surgery plus medication, braces and rehab will bring the total cost to $5,500-$6,000. That does not include the gross-tasting $70 joint supplements I have to take daily for the rest of my life (my hooman sneaks them to me in pepperonis).
Although there are plenty of pressing issues and grave circumstances among those in the world, I can say on behalf of all dogs that hoomans have a special place in our hearts.
My hooman is a member of my pack and, as her Service Animal, I will always care for her...but it is hard to do-so right now. The roles have been flipped and she has taken care of me over the past 4 weeks and will continue to the 12 weeks following my surgery.
If we have had the pleasure to meet, or if you are a fellow dog lover and know the special bond we share with hoomans, any donation is greatly appreciated and does not go unnoticed.
