Baby Owen's Medical Expense Fund

Kyle “Owen” Brake Jr. was born to parents Kyle and Heather Brake on January 7, 2018. Since that time Baby Owen has had a number of medical challenges and has yet to go home with mom and dad. While at Maine Medical Center he developed swelling in his airway and was transported by ambulance to Massachusetts General Hospital where he was treated by a well-known ear, nose and throat doctor. A Cricoid Split procedure was performed on February 6, 2018 followed by a Bronchoscopy that led doctors to focus more on his diaphragm.  A diaphragm surgery was completed on March 9, 2018, which proved helpful and has allowed for more room in his diaphragm. He is doing better but still not fully out of the woods. All along, mom and dad have been staying in the hospital as well as a local hotel. They have incurred and will likely to continue to incur unanticipated medical expenses and travel expenses. This GoFundMe page is designed to help offset some of those costs.
