Liver Transplant for Baby Lex Ander

Baby Lex Ander was only 2 months when he was diagnosed with biliary atresia, a rear liver disease that has no cure. Five out of 100,000 babies are born with this disease, and the only way to save Baby Lex’s life, is if he gets a new liver.

Now he is 11 months and he is still waiting for a liver. The process is really painful and overwhelming: constant fevers, chronic internal bleeding causing Baby Lex not to eat for days, 5 surgeries so far, 5 blood transfusions and now he can’t leave the hospital because he is receiving treatments to stay stable.

We are raising funds to help Baby Lex Ander and his family so they can survive the process and cover some of the costs that come with the surgery. Just a liver transplant averages $735,000 dollars, so any help would be a blessing for Baby Lex and his family.
