Howdy!
Jean Stanley has been a faithful Aggie employee for nearly 30 years and has served as the Aggie Band Business Coordinator or, as we like to call her, the Band Mom for 11 years. She has planned every road trip, hotel stay and meal for countless Aggie Bandsmen in those years. She has been a listening ear, shoulder to cry on and advocate for the students during that time, as well. She has taken good care of us, and now it's time for us to help take care of her.
Ms. Stanley was recently diagnosed with resectable pancreatic cancer. It's in early stages (which is good!) and operable. WHOOP for little blessings! She has undergone one round of chemo and radiation each and will start round 2, following her surgery on March 9th.
