We are soliciting your support in celebrating the legacy of an incredible man of God.
On February 1, 2015, Dr. Bill J. Forrest was called home to be with the Lord. A prominent Pastor, Leader, and Advocate, Dr. Forrest dedicated over 40 years of service to God’s people. Whether within his own church family or to the greater community, he was known as a powerful prayer warrior, a generous giver, and a pillar of strength and faith. Dr. Forrest worked tirelessly to move vision towards fruition; he loved people and illustrated it by advocating for equality, justice, quality education and various other forms of community service. He spent his lifetime serving the community, and now we ask that the community serves him by helping us to fund the expenses incurred by his sudden transition to glory.
He was a Pastor, a Doctor of Theology, and a Community Advocate; he was also the husband to First Lady Forrest, the father of five adult children, and a proud grandfather. Dr. Forrest was granted the honor of seeing his dreams materialize through his children many times, and now with his passing, his children have been passed the baton to go forth with the construction of the beautiful church that he always envisioned. Everything Dr. Forrest touched was blessed, and by God’s grace his legacy and passion will live on for generations to come. Your support at this time is both greatly needed and greatly appreciated.
Surely our loved one has fought a good fight, he has finished his course, (1 Tim 4:7) every jewel in his crown is well deserved!
