A father, brother, talented photographer and friend to many, Augustus T. Burke was born May 7, 1964, in Savannah, GA. On Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at 53 years old, he was called home to be with his Father in Heaven.
Augustus loved life, was always helping others, loved to joke and laugh—a lot—and was a loving and supportive father.
As a passionate photographer, he faithfully served for many years at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Decatur, GA. His family, friends and loved ones are collecting funds to take care of final expenses and would love the support of those he helped or touched in some way.
We will celebrate his life at 1 pm on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, 6400 Woodrow Rd, Lithonia, GA 30038. He will be dearly missed, but we are confident that we will see him again, in our eternal home.
