Hello Everyone,
My name is Ashanti and I am a recent high school graduate from a performing arts high school in Chicago. I studied classical voice and graduated with a 3.67 gpa. The video attached is of me performing Beethoven's "Sehnsucht" at the CPS Vocal Solo and Ensemble Festival - 2014 where I received superior marks and earned a gold medal.
In a few months I will be starting my new journey as a college student at Viterbo University to study my passion, musical theater perfomance. It is a dream come true and I couldn't be more happy. However, I need your help.
My mother, who is a single parent of two kids, lost her job 9 months ago and is no longer receiving unemployment. Because of this, funds are really low and my college savings is nearly non-existent. I have received some financial aid, merit and performance scholarships but still I am short of what I need. I am asking for your help to allow me to accomplish my dream. I would be so honored and grateful for your support. It would be the best gift I could receive.
