Dear family and friends, the caring devoted husband, father and papa is nearing his time here with us.
In October of 2018 Armando was diagnosed with stage 4 bladder cancer this was only a month after we lost our youngest daughter Tatiana. With this diagnosis he followed with chemo to shrink the tumors that developed around the bladder (on the spine, on his pelvis...) to ease the pain and give a somewhat better quality of life.
Unfortunately with multiple infections and hospital stays he has only received four sessions in the past five months which has brought the affects on more rapidly. He has lost the ability and use of his legs caused by blood clots in each leg and his tumors have grown.
For these reasons we took him home from the hospital on Monday March 4th. We are keeping him as comfortable as we can. Family and friends have been such a comfort and help. Please don't hesitate to reach out to visit or call. He has a lot of love on his side and will not be alone when he leaves this world.
As you can imagine this past year has been very difficult for us and the last thing we want to have on our minds is how we can have a memorial service for him. With neither of us able to work for the past few months it has been hard to stay afloat and to want to give him a nice little gathering when the time comes. We ask for the help that we cannot do ourselves right now. Thank you all for your continued support, positive thoughts, prayers and of course Love.
