Valdez Hurricane Harvey Recovery

Hi Friends and Family,

Hurricane Harvey came through Refugio County and
directly ravaged Woodsboro, TX. This is where my brother in law Tony Valdez's mother's house was hit by the storm.  

 Today on 8/31, Armandina went to check on her house and was devasted to see the damaged caused by Hurricane Harvey. Her home shifted and what is standing may collapse at any given time. She evacuated with only a few items and is unable to live there. Rebuilding will not be an option for her on a limited income that she earns. The school district she works for will be closed until further notice.  Armandina is 60 years old and struggled day to day before this storm.  Your prayers and any amount of help are greatly appreciated to help provide essentials such as clothing, and essentials. She is staying with her son Tony and Roman Valdez at the moment and feels blessed to be alive but displaced and heartbroken.
