Annie's Treatment

Donation protected
Dear Friends,  As much as I dislike asking for help, our family is in need of a little financial help right now to get us through the summer. I just received a call from my doctor who alterted me to the fact that my hemoglobin
levels are a 6 ( for women it's usually 12.0 to 15.5)
Apparently this is  dangerous and we don't know what's causing this low level, am I losing blood somewhere? Do I need a transfusion? We are not sure.  So I am off to the Doylestown Hospital E.R. as soon as my ride arrives.  In addition, I am scheduled to go into treatment for two weeks to get off the medications which I have been taking post-cancer, for the last three years. I need to be in a safe place where there are doctors who are trained in helping people wean off of them, which can be a tough, even dangerous thing to do. I plan to go to 'Retreat at Lancaster' tomorrow. Or whenever I get my hemoglobin levels figured out. I have been extremely exhausted the last couple weeks as I have tried with my primary doctor to wean off the meds slowly. However, I now realize I need to do this with better help. We  could use a little help, for rent, food, and bills. If you can't help, that is fine! So many people are hurting in so many ways today, including financially. If you can help even a little bit, thank you so much. As I said before, I dislike asking for help, this is so hard for me to do, humiliating, but I need to ask  now because the situation is getting urgent. If you can pray, thank you even more, for I truly believe that God hears our prayers and is looking out for our family even in the midst of these trials. (In fact, He is looking out for all of us!) (Just grab his hand and take hold!) Thank you for your prayers, they mean so much to us. Getting to the point where I admitted I needed to get healthy was pretty tough.  But I know that in the end having done this, by God's Grace, our family and I will live out the rest of our lives with better quality of life - if I/we do the hard work now.  And now my blood levels are messed up :( and I am really scared. Thank you for being there for the Mergotts, I cannot express in words how much this means to us. Love, Annie
