Internship in Hiroshima!

I am a twenty-two year old graduate student an just received an MSW in May. This past summer I traveled to Hiroshima, Japan for one month to attend a Global Studies, Peace, and Leadership seminar. In short I can say that the experience was phenomenal. It helped me to learn about what an individual can do to change the world for the better. I decided at that point that I wanted my social work career to have an international component. Learning about cultures different from my own has always been an interest of mine.
This year I have been asked to return as a summer intern for the Peace Seminar. I will have an opportunity to live out my dream of living in Japan while gaining skills necessary for a career in international social work. While this opportunity is something I never dreamed would come my way, there is a drawback that might keep me from taking this step in my career. Currently a one way ticket from the Southeast United States to Hiroshima is around $1100. I've estimated that local transportation, food, and miscellaneous costs will be $1000 per month.

Because I will have already earned my degree I do not qualify for study abroad scholarships or financial aid. I am currently employed part time, but my income has been designated for school related expenses. I work as much as my study schedule will allow. Being in my final semester of graduate school didn't leave room to earn extra money to reach my goal. This is why I am asking for help from all of you.
