Sarah's Animal Care Internship Abroad

My name is Sarah and I am less than a month away from completing my bachelors degree in psychology with a focus in animal behavior. I am undertaking an internship in eastern Mexico where I will be learning how to work with dolphins, sea lions, manatees, sea turtles, sting rays, sharks, monkeys, and birds. I have previously worked at Sea World, where I cared for multiple species. While at Sea World I also aided in the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of injured and stranded animals. I was also blessed to partake in the breeding and release of critically endangered species back into their natural environment.

I am committed to protecting Earth's ecosystems and the animals within them. With the uprising of big business, our ecosystems are feeling the strain of pollution and environmental destruction. It is my dream to help and protect the animals affected by human expansion. This internship will help provide me with the necessary education to achieve my goal.

Unfortunately, government financial aid will not help to cover the costs of the internship. The program costs are far too high for a new college grad to cover alone. If anyone out there would be willing to help me, I would be eternally grateful.
