Andrea is a Fighter
Donation protected
A caring young mother to two children, ages seven and 20 months, a loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Andrea has so much to be thankful for. Unfortunately, she's facing a challenge.
On March 7th Andrea was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma. The days following the diagnosis were filled with surgery, scans and tests. Andrea underwent surgery to remove an enlarged lymph node, a PET scan that revealed a mass on the right side of her chest as well as two spots on the left side of her chest, a bone marrow biopsy (which came back NEGATIVE - we are SO thankful!) and started ABDV chemotherapy. Andrea's official diagnosis is Stage 2A Hodgkin's lymphoma. Her treatment consists of six cycles of chemotherapy, once every two weeks for six months.
Andrea is a fighter. She is strong. She is resilient. Unfortunately, in addition to the blow of the diagnosis, the timing couldn't have been much worse. Andrea recently started a new job, which means her paid time off benefit doesn't begin for several more months. She is planning to work during treatment, but there will be days when work isn't possible. Lost wages, medical bills, insurance co-pays and travel costs will put a heavy burden on Andrea and her family.
We are asking for your help. All donations received will directly aid Andrea and her family during this difficult season, whether offsetting the expenses of cancer treatment or alleviating financial stress for Andrea, her husband and children, every dollar will help. WE can help.
Please know that each and every thought, prayer and donation is greatly appreciated by Andrea and her family. We hope you'll join us in supporting them. Together, we will beat this terrible disease.
Never give up. Never give in.
