Amy & Dan Hickman Hurricane Relief
Donation protected
On October 10, the third-most powerful hurricane to ever make landfall in the U.S. hit Florida’s panhandle.
My dear friends Amy & Dan Hickman, along with their son Ethan, were directly affected by this horrific storm. With little thought for themselves, Dan and Amy worked at Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center to help take care of the patients . This effort was not in vain as their hospital was nearly completely destroyed and shut down. Once the safety of the hospitals patients was secured, Dan and Amy returned to find their home heavily damaged and uninhabitable.
Their son Ethan, who has cystic fibrosis, is having trouble breathing due to the poor air quality following the storm. They are now seeking refuge at a hotel in southern Alabama.
The storms overwhelming destruction has left the Hickman family without a home and uncertain employment. They are an amazing family and I am so thankful to call them my friends. Donations at this time will be used for day to day living and medical expenses. There is no donation that is too small. Thank you all so much.
