Support the Surviving Boys of A Slain Mother

My name is Daisy Johnson, Cousin to Stacey Jones  A pregnant woman working on her PhD and raising two brilliant boys was shot and killed while on her front porch on the city’s South Side.

our family is in turmoil. we lost an Angel. 

Police said the shooting happened just after midnight Tuesday in the 2100 block of E. 95th Place. Shot spotter technology alerted police to gunfire.

Upon arrival, officers found my cousin unresponsive, with two gunshot wounds in the back. She was transported to U of C Hospital, where she died.

this is an unspeakable tragedy. Her child a boy was saved and we want to do every thing we can to support him and my aunt who now has to take on my cousins newborn and two older boys.

All PROCEDES FROM THIS FUNDRAISER WILL GO DIRECTLY TO THE SONS OF STACEY JONES, LAWRENCE JONES, ZUBERI JONES , AND BABY JONES WHO IS STILL FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE.

FUNDS WILL BE SPENT ON THE NEEDS OF THE CHILDREN INCLUDING CLOTHES, CHILD CARE, FOOD, SHELTER AND TRANSPORTATION TO THEIR HOME THAT AWAITS THEM IN TENNESSEE.
