Anthony's $34 Global Experience

My nephew Anthony is the eldest of 3 children. When he's not at school he spends time playing with his little brother who has celebral palsy and tries his best not to harass his younger sister. A few months ago he was accepted into the People to People Student Ambassador program. Anthony is extremely excited to be apart of this adventure but needs our help to raise the funds for a unique global experience. Read Anthony's story about the trip and GIVE!

My name is Anthony Nelson and I am a 9th grader at Willow Canyon High School in Surprise, Arizona. I am participating in the People to People Student Ambassador Program and I need your help to go on this amazing trip.
The Student Ambassador Programs are sponsored by the Washington School of World Studies. This Program offers international educational travels to all seven continents for students. The programs feature unique activities for building independence and maturity, exclusive cultural moments to increase global awareness and exciting destinations to foster a love for international travel and foreign cultures.
On this trip, I will be:
* Traveling internationally
* Making new friends
* Learning and participating in foreign customs
* Challenging myself to learn through doing
My trip is planned for departure on June 10 through June 28 and I will be studying Celtic Cultures in London, Wales, Ireland, and Scotland. A donation of $34 would help me reach my fundraising goals and allow me to go on this amazing trip.
I have traveled to several parts of the United States and found that there are many diverse and exciting customs and traditions that link us as one. This trip gives me the opportunity to expand my knowledge of other cultures and to compare the way we live to those of other countries.
