Ally with my journey to serve ALL

Here I am.  My heart is pounding and my stomach is wrenching.  I know the old pattern is scrabbling because the new life in me is striving.  So I’m taking a deep breath and letting it all go.  Yes, it means so much to me at this moment that you are willing to hear me through.

As someone who was born in a small city in China, I grew up mostly with a sense of isolation.  Naturally, I learned to seal my lips and hold my breath.  Obeying my culture and upbringing, I successfully turned myself into a “standard” Chinese female, meant to appear as pretty and silent as a picture on the wall.  Only I knew, the inside of me was hollow, sad and lifeless.  To survive the anguish, I stilled my heart.

Gifted by a rocky succession of losses in my marriage, career, health and savings, I woke up one day and started a journey to find the truth of life.

Over the past ten years, I’ve learned and practiced many types of healing arts.  I found Nonviolent Communication (NVC) as an exceptionally practical and powerful practice that radically changes people’s lives.  I resonate so much with this statement on BayNVC.org : Imagine a world where everyone’s needs matter and people have skills to make peace.

I’ve practiced and shared NVC in my personal work as well as working with others.  The profound transformations from despair to hope that I’ve witnessed have gone far beyond my wildest imagination.   I’m clear now, this is my calling.

I am holding a vision.  This vision says, one day, every human being has access to abundant resources and everything we do nourishes all lives.  I’m committing to actualizing my vision to as far as I can go.  In order to do that, I am showing up with maximum transparency and vulnerability to ask for your support.

My goal of this GoFundMe Campaign is to raise the funds needed for attending CNVC International Intensive Training (IIT)  in San Francisco between 12/1 to 12/10 this year.  The funds will be only used for the tuition, accommodations, and travel.  This IIT has a special focus on Power, Privilege and Body.  You can read more here  about how impactful this training will be.
