Replacing Community Truck

Late evening on September 14th, 2017 MidAmerica's community truck was destroyed by a suspected arsonist.   Because the age of the truck, liability insurance was the only insurance coverage.  The community truck is used to pickup durable medical equipment donations in the Kansas City community where we then refurbish the equipment and make it available for others in the area who are in need.

We call our community donation program "giving the gift of access" because when someone donates medical equipment like a wheelchair, walker, transfer benches, etc. it provides the gift of access to another person in the community.  This unique program has helped thousands in the Kansas City community.
