First, I would like to thank everyone that supported my mission trip to Germany with News Release Basketball. It was truly an amazing experience that has helped shape the young woman I am today. Through those few weeks with that organization, my personal relationship with Jesus Christ deepened. I learned to glorify Him with the sport that I've loved since I was little. I practiced boldly sharing the Gospel and my own personal testimony with the people around me. He has shown me that basketball is more than just a competitive sport, but it is a platform where He can use players to reach other people, whether it be teammates, coaches or people in the crowds. I want to glorify Him on and off the court internationally. This is why I am still working to achieve a basketball career overseas.
This January, I plan to be apart of the Europrobasket International Academy. Europrobasket is a year round professional training and placement program. After researching this program, hearing of the experiences and seeing the success of people who have been, I believe this will be a very beneficial move for me. The cost of the program will be 1.860,00€ or $2,200.00 USD. The January signing period will be January 8th-February 7th.
The price covers:
-Hotel Stay
-3 Meals Per day (Breakfast Buffet, Lunch, Dinner Buffet)
-2 Practices Per Day with Professional Coaches
-3-4 Games, against Mostly Spanish teams
-Game Film for all games, posted on the Europrobasket youtube channel
-Practice Uniforms, Personalized Game Uniforms, Warm Ups
-Weight Sessions
-Introduction to European Coaches, Agents, and Scouts
-Introduction to European rules, systems, concepts and tactics
-Education about the European basketball market, agents, and contracts
However, it does not cover the flight to Barcelona and train ride to Girona, Spain that it takes to get to the facilities.
That is where the extra funds included in the goal comes in.
