Touch World Cup 2024: Nottingham, stiamo arrivando!

Le Nazionali italiane di Touch Rugby hanno bisogno del tuo aiuto per realizzare il proprio sogno: partecipare ai Mondiali di Nottingham 2024 (14-21 Luglio).

Alla Touch Worldcup 2024 l’Italia sarà rappresentata da tre squadre: la Mixed Open, la Mixed 30 e la Over 50.

Il Touch Rugby è uno sport che in Australia conta circa 600.000 giocatori, ma in Italia resta ancora uno sport di nicchia amatoriale. Per questo, le Nazionali contano unicamente sulla passione, volontà, sacrificio e determinazione dei propri giocatori, che sono costretti a sostenere personalmente i costi legati alla partecipazione a campionati di alto livello, Mondiale incluso.

La Mixed Open sarà composta da ragazze e ragazzi provenienti da diversi Club siti in varie Regioni italiane: tutti giovani under 30, molti dei quali studenti, accomunati dalla passione per questo sport e dalla voglia di mettersi in gioco.

Della Mixed30 faranno invece parte atlete e atleti non solo provenienti dai più disparati angoli d'Italia, ma anche dall'estero (dove si sono stabiliti per studio o lavoro), costretti dunque a sostenere costi non indifferenti per potersi allenare e vestire la maglia azzurra. La maggior parte di loro sono giovani professionisti che, con grande dedizione e sacrificio, sono riusciti a raggiungere un ottimo quinto posto ai Campionati europei 2023 svoltisi a Vichy!

Da ultimo, la formazione maschile Over50 verrà rappresentata da molti dei nostri giocatori più esperti e accoglierà anche amici italo-francesi e italo-australiani.

Giocatrici e giocatori ci metteranno impegno, passione, e determinazione per rappresentare al meglio il nostro Paese, ma, essendo uno sport di nicchia e non professionale, hanno bisogno del tuo supporto: anche il più piccolo sarà un grande passo verso la meta!

Touch World Cup 2024: Nottingham, here we come!

The Italian Touch Rugby National Teams need your help to make their dream come true: participating in the 2024 World Cup in Nottingham (July 14-21).

At the Touch World Cup 2024, Italy will be represented by three teams: the Mixed Open, the Mixed 30, and the Over 50. Touch Rugby is a sport that boasts about 600,000 players in Australia, but in Italy, it remains a niche amateur sport. Therefore, the National Teams rely solely on the passion, willingness, sacrifice, and determination of their players, who are personally responsible for the costs associated with participating in high-level championships, including the World Cup.

The Mixed Open team will consist of girls and boys from various clubs located in different Italian regions: all young players under 30, many of whom are students, united by their passion for the sport and their desire to compete.

The Mixed 30 team will include athletes not only from various parts of Italy but also from abroad (where they have settled for study or work), thus incurring significant costs for training and wearing the azure jersey. Most of them are young professionals who, with great dedication and sacrifice, achieved an excellent fifth place at the 2023 European Championships held in Vichy!

Lastly, the Over 50 men's team will be represented by many of our most experienced players and will also welcome Italian-French and Italian-Australian friends.

Players will put in effort, passion, and determination to represent our country to the best of their ability, but being a niche and non-professional sport, they need your support: even the smallest contribution will be a significant step towards the goal!

Alongside us is the "Italia Touch" Federation, which provides us with all the sports and logistical support. Registered with the International Federation FIT, Italia Touch is the Italian Federation working to promote and practice Touch throughout the national territory.
