Meet Adeline, my cousin. On August 29th, 2017 she married the love of her life, Paul. On September 7th she celebrated her 31st birthday once again surrounded by family and friends.
During this time she had visited the emergency room on multiple occasions due to pain, weakness and unexplained swelling; only to be sent away each time. Told it was wedding stress.
Approximately three weeks after the wedding she was admitted for sever renal failure only to be diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
Since that day Adeline has spend her days fighting for her life. Enduring a seeming never ending string of procedures and surgeries. Many of these procedures take place in Anchorage keeping Adeline away from her new husband who has to continue working in order to pay the mortgage and try to make ends meet.
Instead of going on her honeymoon, Adeline was getting chemotherapy, dialysis and blood transfusions. To make matters worse, Adeline was recently informed that she must travel to Seattle in order to receive a bone marrow transplant, which will require that she and her mother stay there for two to three months.
We are raising money to help with living expenses for while she is in Seattle. Every penny given helps. No amount is too small to make a difference.
