Aaron Huether and Family

Donation protected
On Friday, March 2nd 2018, our friend and family member Aaron Huether was in a horrible accident during the recent wind storm in Hampton Roads, Va. As he was driving on Newman Road in James City County, a huge oak tree fell and crushed Aaron's work truck, cracking his skull and breaking his leg. He was pinned for over two hours before paramedics and emergency crews could get to him. Once he was rescued, Aaron was taken to Richmond MCV trauma hospital, where they questioned whether he would survive. Our entire community is beyond thankful that he is alive, but the journey of healing will be long, and as a small business owner, a family man, and pillar in multiple communities - Aaron will need at least six-eight months away from work, away from cycling and racing (b/c he is fast AF), and away from providing for his family.

As Aaron heals and undergoes future surgery and therapy, and slowly begins to regain strength, Missy, his wife, and his children Brittany and Skylar, and his grandchild Finley, will need all the emotional and financial support they can get. Please give what you can, trauma and tragedy are not just about the immediate - they are about the long-term - and one of our own is in need. We love you Huether Family, and we have your six, aka back - we will be there for you, and hope we can also lift the financial burden as much as possible so you can focus solely on healing - body, mind and soul.
