Mom Entrepreneur Dream:A Mother's Touch
A born entrepreneur and hard worker, it was always my goal to run my own
business! Work-life, combined with four children, taught me the value
of time and orderliness. It seemed only natural to combine the two, so I
founded A Mother's Touch. It's a cleaning service located in the New
River Valley region of VA.
A Mother's Touch allows me to give
other mothers valuable time with their children while enabling me to do
the same. Operating a cleaning service translates into flexible work
time for me. I would work while they were at school or sleeping and
spend quality time with them when they were available.
Challenge and hard work doesn't scare me. In fact, they push me to be the
best I can be. This work ethic of mine has been demonstrated in past
employment, and I have always risen to success.

and my first client has been retained. Soon I hope to work full time at

continuing to work a full time job. All the while I'm raising my
children and working to build A Mother's Touch.

Internet and radio campaigns), supplies (e.g., vacuum cleaner and
cleaning products), and two months of personal health insurance premiums
for myself. Once the money is raised, I will be able to realize my
dream of running my own business full time. I cannot wait!
