Alpha Delta Theta Scholarship

Dear alumnae, current actives, friends, and family, 

This holiday season, we are hoping to raise funds to help cover the costs of sorority scholarships this coming semester. We currently have some of the lowest dues on the Mountain, at $280/semester. However, we have several girls who we cover on scholarship, and every year it gets harder to provide for all the scholarship needs without dramatically raising dues. As a sorority, we try to support our sisters as best we can emotionally, academically, and financially. Though we excel in the first two categories, financial support has become more strained over the years. We usually put $2500 per semester to cover scholarships, and that still does not cover our need in full.

Your donations will help us cover all of our scholarships and also allow us to put more money towards things like house repairs, savings, and community service events. We also hope to put money towards serving our alumnae better, like sending out more newsletters and hosting alumnae teas with all the fixings. Our girls on scholarship are some of the brightest and most active members of our sorority, and we would hate to have money issues affect their involvement. Every donation counts!

Alpha Delta Theta sorority was founded Easter Semester at the University of the South in 1979. Since our first days, the purpose of our sorority has been to promote loving friendship among our members, to provide community service, and to cultivate coalescence with all organizations and individuals associated with the University of the South. We have consistently been campus leaders in scholarship and extracurricular pursuits, and our members can be found in every realm of campus life, from the sacristans and choir in All Saints to the rugby team to the theatre.
