Fundraising for a short film is no easy task. But thanks to platforms like GoFundMe, we are able to share with you our amazing film vision. Below you'll find a ton of information regarding our current film project "A BLOOD THRONE." And as you dig through, you'll come across a lot of passion, love and commitment that has already been poured into this project.
We have currently gone as far as our personal funds will allow us to go. We have a full cast, we're nearing the point of a full production team, many of the costumes and props are in place, but in order to take the next major step forward, we need your help! There are still many areas that require more money in order for us to move forward. And what's crazy, is that we have set APRIL 15 - 29th as our filming days! This is where we're believing that God will be inspiring all of you to bless us financially with your contributions towards this goal.

SYNOPSIS A Blood Throne is a short film [35-40m] that focuses on the dysfunctional relationship between father and son (Herod the Great and Antipas) at the height of Herod’s delusion: the massacre of the innocents and the murder of his two eldest boys. By exposing the corruption that comes with the unyielding pursuit for control, fame and power; “A Blood Throne” illustrates the mental, physical and spiritual deterioration of Herod as a husband, father and king. Ultimately, however; we are left with a glimmer of hope - the miraculous birth and escape of the prophesied King of Kings: Yeshua the anointed Messiah. A child being raised up by a righteous father.

WHY WE NEED A BLOOD THRONE
A Blood Throne highlights a series of brutal events at the birth of God's greatest gift to mankind: Jesus Christ. This series demonstrates to us a painful look at how the enemy operates through lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and pride of life (a direct result of our country's severed and diminished relationship with God our Father) in order to blind humanity, murder children, and ravage our reception of the child, born King of Kings, who is our only way back to the Father.
The successful and excellent completion of this short-film will allow for the later creation of a feature-length project that continues to tackle the identity crisis facing our world. Without the giver of identity, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (our Father), we are left groping for meaning, hungering for satisfaction and forever yearning for truth.

By FUNDING this project, you are not just supporting the faith-based media movement, you are sending forth a ministry that aims to tackle the "fatherless" dilemma we face in our country today. You're sending forth a missionary force, commissioned by God, to expose satan's lies.
The truth is that there is a great and mighty Father who loves you, who has a plan for you and is calling all of us back home, by way of Jesus the Christ.
HOW WILL THE FUNDS BE USED?

The funds will be used for set-building (wood, panels, hardware, etc.), set-design (paint, drapes, columns, statues, etc.) and set-props (torches, couches, throne, vases, etc.) as well as equipment to film the project. The equipment includes, cameras, lenses, lights, microphones and mixers, monitors, cables, power, etc.



Also, with the funds, we'll be providing the cast & crew food during the long film hours, travel between locations as well as transportation of animals (horses & donkeys) and equipment. Lastly, the funds will also cover the editing of the film. Editing includes the "cutting" of the film, the special effects, the original music, the sound mixing and coloring of the film, as well as ample storage for the large file formats. And let's not forget all of the film-festival fees and prints we need to create in order to have this film presented to the millions we hope see it and are transformed by it.

WHO IS MOUNT HARVEST PRODUCTION?

Mount Harvest is an energetic and profoundly creative production company. We believe that through the parables that film presents its audiences, a storyteller is able to communicate the deep truths of God’s Kingdom and how they lay in stark contrast with the facts of the natural world around us.

In 2012 we moved from the corporate commercial advertising world, having worked with global brands like Samsung, IBM, Fidelity, EMC, WestRock, Hologic and Sacks Exhibits, into feature filmmaking. We combine 30 years of industry experience into our narrative film work. We are a collaborative of creators, inventors and thinkers composed of producers, directors, designers, writers, animators, editors, and storyboard artists that together have garnered some of the most prestigious awards in the Faith-Based Film Industry.
Our first short film, ARMOR OF GOD (2014), is a ten-time best short film nominee and won best short at the renowned Christian Worldview Film Festival in 2015 at San Antonio TX. ARMOR OF GOD was later picked up for international broadcast television distribution by NYC based Hewes Pictures LLC. Our second short film CROSSROAD (2016), is a six-time best short film nominee and winner of best screenplay for a short film at the famed International Christian Film Festival in 2016 at Orlando FL, the Cannes Film Festival for faith-based films.
The expectations are high for our next project, A BLOOD THRONE. And we strongly believe that success is found in collaboration. Therefore, we are looking to work together with like-minded artists, funders and film enthusiasts who are passionate about sharing the Gospel of the Kingdom through film and are looking forward to the challenge of setting the bar for technically excellent, visually enrapturing and powerful story-driven Christian Films.
