Sam Asamoah-Boakye, a Community Leader

On Tuesday, September 7th, 2021 our lives were turned upside down as Samuels life was stripped from him senselessly. A son, father, brother and a mentor not only to those close to him but to every life that came across his path. Anyone who knew him knew his burning desire to implement change within the community he served. Samuel embodied resilience love and gratitude and instilled hope to those who looked up to him. As a graduate from the University of Toronto, Samuel excelled beyond his own expectations in post education as he ventured to play an integral role in Build and builders development corporation as an activist to create brighter paths for the youth in the community. Although life throws us many curveballs, we never expect to lose the people we love so soon. The magnitude of this tragedy is inconceivable. We kindly ask for prayers and donations in these rough times as we put Sam to rest, he was survived by his loving family.
