Please join us in our mission to benefit our beautiful Mom, Stephanie Occhipinti, as she begins her journey to fight against Cancer. She is not only our mother, but also a loving wife to our Father, George Occhipinti, a proud Grandmother known as "Mema" to her Grandchildren, Jayden, Chase and Luca, as well as a loving and caring Sister, Aunt, Mother-in-law, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law and Friend. She was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer and is currently battling against it. Anyone who knows Stephanie, is aware of her immense love for her family, Friends and for life.
Lung cancer is one of the most underreported cancers in the media. It is also underrepresented in terms of research dollars when compared to other major cancers, including breast, prostate and colon. Total research spending per death is the lowest among the four major cancers.
We are trying to raise these funds to allow our mother the opportunity to receive some alternate and experimental treatments of this horrible disease. Certain treatments, such as Insulin Potentiated Therapy (IPT) and other Vitamin infusion treatments have been shown to drastically increase response and survival rates in cancer patients. Unfortunately these treatments are very expensive and are not covered under standard insurance.
