Hi, I’m Virginia Thomas Tippens and I got a call Monday, Sept. 25 that no parent wants to hear, my eldest daughter, Alyssa West, was involved in a major auto accident and was being airlifted to UF Shands Emergency. At the time, we only knew that she ran into the back of another vehicle but we have since found out that it was NOT her fault and she is in no way held responsible.

We were so blessed to know that she had just dropped off her 21 mo. old, Isabelle, for daycare. We’ve had our collective church communities praying for Alyssa and God is making his presence known to us.

Alyssa has a serious brain injury and is currently in a medically induced coma due to fluctuations in her condition. Until Friday she was thought to have a torn aorta but that has since been ruled out. There have been many medical urgencies and concerns but we know that through it all, His Will will be done.

Please help us with our goal to cover  expenses involved in the long road ahead for Alyssa and Isabelle. Alyssa will need help with her bills now and however long her recovery takes. 

Above all else, please pray for healing and recovery for Alyssa.
