Cancer Sucks. Oliver Rules (and drools)

Donation protected
In April 2014 Oliver's mom noticed that Oliver was not acting like his normal self. He was found to have an extremely rare, aggressive, malignant brain tumor just before his 3 month birthday. He was at Children's of Alabama in Birmingham for 31 days. During that time he had surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible (less than 30% was removed) and received one round of chemo. After a little bit of time at home he went back to COA for another round of chemo. We are currently waiting on him to recover from round two of chemo for his first post-chemo MRI. His treatment plan is still not fully known but there will be lots more chemo and possibly another brain surgery. Because this tumor is rare and there is little research about it there is no road map to follow for his treatment. While prayers, thoughts, and good vibes are needed as everyone hopes for the tumor to shrink there are costs that are rising. The family already has many medical bills that are continuing to rise and lots of miles between Montgomery and Birmingham. Any help is greatly appreciated as everyone cheers on Oliver, his family, and the doctors and nurses who are doing everything they can to heal this sweet child.  This will be a long journey for this little fella. We will be sure to post updates as new info arises.
