Love Is Stronger Than Cancer

On April 13th, 2022 my sister Cathy walked into an emergency room with extreme intestinal pain. On that day, she was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that was also found to have metastasized to her liver. A day that changed her and her family’s lives in a blink of an eye.

Since that day, she has had multiple surgeries on her colon and liver and soon will be getting ready for her living liver donor transplant surgery. She has also been on grueling weekly chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments for the past 2 years.

Words can’t describe how hard she is fighting for her health and how hard she has also been working her day job to pay for her day to day expenses as well as the mountain of medical bills that have piled up since this disease has disrupted her life. She has been nothing but amazing! I know you would feel the same way if you knew her and could see how she and her hard working family are in desperate need of help.

I am Cathy’s baby sister and I have known her to always be the one taking care of everyone around her with bright, cheerful, charismatic energy; and a work ethic unparalleled compared to those around her.

I’m asking for donations to now take care of my big sister and the financial burden that cancer has put on her and her family so she can focus on her upcoming donor transplant surgery and healing. All funds raised will go directly to Cathy’s medical expenses and related travel expenses.
