Sandra's Cancer Fund

Hello All:
I have opened this go fund me account in behalf of my dear sister Sandra. Sandra was diagnosed with breast cancer and has started chemotherapy.
Sandra went in for a routine mammogram and they found "something suspicious” and she had to go back for more imaging. They told her it was stage one breast cancer and everything looked routine.
Sandra went in for a lumpectomy and she received the good news that the cancer had not spread to any lymph nodes. Her cancer marker came back very high however, and they decided on 4 months of chemo and 26 treatments of radiation.
Sandra has always been strong and independent and had a good attitude about what she was about to face. She had her first dose of chemo on August 15th and it seemed to go well. Sandra called me a few days later to tell me how violently ill she has been since the chemo and as we talked she revealed that she was down to her last $100.00 and her medical bills were mounting along with her daily living expenses.
Sandra lost her job earlier in the year and has not been able to find a new job. Her savings is now depleted and with the chemo she is so ill that she couldn’t work even if she did find a job. She is afraid that she and her dog Smokie will lose their apartment. To make matters worse, her daughter and grandson recently moved to Florida so she has no support system around her as she lives in Minnesota.
I am asking my friends and family to help with any amount that you can. Sandra is too ashamed to ask for herself so that is why I am asking for her. Please help Sandra get through this tough time in her life. Thank you all!
