Hello! My name is Amanda and I am trying to raise funds to help my dad get a kidney transplant.
In 2015 he had surgery to remove one kidney and in 2016 went on dialysis to support the remaining kidney. He is currently at end stage renal failure and spends 4 hours 3 days a week at the dialysis center to sustain his life. My moms insurance will pay for the surgery for both my dad and the donor in the event that we find a donor but unfortunately we have not had any luck in finding one yet.
The money raised from this go fund me will be going directly to the donor to help pay for expenses that insurance does not cover such as lost wages, transportation, and other accommodations. We hope that this go fund me can act as a great incentive for someone who may potentionally be a good match for my dad.
