LaShawn Slade house fire fund

Last Friday, 10/16, while she was at work with Cognosante La Shawn Slade received a call  that her house was on fire. She left in a panic and found her home completely destroyed by fire, smoke, and water damage. All the occupants were out of the home at the time but 2 dogs were inside in a kennel. A brave police officer kicked in the door and crawled through the smoke to rescue the 2 dogs. In the aftermath, La Shawn, her husband, and their 2 sons ages 20 and 24 lost almost everything. Their clothes are damaged so severely with smoke that their dry cleaner can't save them. La Shawn and her family lived in this home for 8 years as renters. They were under the impression the homeowners insurance would cover their possessions but that is not the case.  They are now trying to rebuild the household and get the family back together as they are now living in 3 different locations.  Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated by La Shawn and her family.
