Help Cover Medical Expenses For Jack

On Thursday, June 11, 2020 around 10 AM my dog Jack went on his morning walk with my dad. Unexpectedly a much larger dog attacked him from behind. Jack tried to fight back as best he could but the dog managed to pin him by his neck multiple times into the ground. Jack was fighting for his life and somehow was able to make it out alive. We rushed him to the ER where Jack was immediately taken into surgery. After an almost 5 hour surgery they repaired the damaged tissue surrounding his neck. They also made two large incisions and placed a drainage tube to drain out excess fluid. He made it out of his first surgery but late Monday night we had to rush him to the ER again for another surgery due to complications. We are hopeful that he will get through this okay. With everything that has been going on and all of the unexpected expenses that have come up I am in need of help from the community and from anyone who can donate anything. Jack is literally my life and I would do and give anything I can to save him and give him the best quality of life possible. If we’re lucky enough to exceed our goal I plan to donate any extra proceeds to one of Sacramento’s local animal shelters. I know that times are tough for everyone right now, but anything helps.
