Little Penguin Harper Needs a Little Help

Can You Help Harper Get Home?

$380 will help pay for Harper’s medical treatments and provide clean dry sand to protect feet as they heal.

Penguin Rehab & Release has a Little Penguin in care that would very much like to go home as soon as possible. Harper was found on a wharf and had her foot crushed when a forklift tried to move the pallet she was hiding under. Luckily the forklift driver stopped as soon as he saw her and she was not hurt further.
X-rays showed that amazingly there were no bones broken but she did have a lot of soft tissue damage in her foot, as well as a slight head injury and some feather damage. She has been battling a nasty infection in her injured foot which is now finally on the mend.

She is very strong-willed and DID NOT like her hospital box, trying to dig her way out! So she was moved into a larger playpen.

She is now well enough to spend time outside but we have to be very careful with her foot as it will take time to heal properly.

She needs clean, soft dry sand in her enclosure to protect her feet.

Can you help us reach our goal of $380?
