It is our goal to provide quality homes for Huskies who have been left homeless for one reason or another. This means we need to pay for a place to start our kennel/rescue as well as pay for food, vet, and other needs. We are in the beginning stages of this effort and already we have adopted our first husky.
After we started raising two huskies of our own we developed a love for this breed. We have always loved all dogs in general and we still do but we have gotten to know the breed known as husky. A quick gathering of info from other dog rescues in the state we discovered at this time there is approximately 65 huskies needing a forever home and these other rescues are overwhelmed with the demand. That's where we step in, with our knowledge and love of huskies, and with your donations we can help care for all of these great animals. Not only provide them health care and food, but also to keep them in a loving home environment instead of in a cage. Donations would help us make sure all their needs are met until we can adopt them out to loving, caring homes.
We feel it is better to bring these loving dogs into our home and show them love and have them interact with others so we can learn each personality and be able to find them the right forever home. The better we know them the better match we can make. You can not do this by placing them in a cage or fenced area and simply feed and water them. You need to understand each individual dog and who they are and that only happens if you live and spend time with them.
The sooner we secure funds the sooner we can set up our kennel and secure all proper licenses. It would be great to help save such a noble breed as the husky from a life of abuse or neglect.
As I am a Husky owner myself it would make me very happy to be able to pay back their kindness and love by helping as many of their friends as possible, thank you.
